MEEELJ's Hiphop Festival Was a Success

Despite the stormy forecast predicted for Saturday June 26, 2004, the clouds did not release any significant rain at June 21, 2007ert was held.

A crowd of around 200 or so attended the festival. Along with the music, the vendors provided a variety of foods. They sold everything from sausage wraps to nachos. Security was provided by D.P.S. troopers and some very hard working volunteers.

The concert, which lasted for more than three hours, went off without any mishaps. The concert goers enjoyed Rap and R&B music from artists such as HSE, GRIT BOYS, SUCKA FREE, BILLY CROSS, and CHOPPA. CHOPPA, who was the main attraction, really got the crowd going when he stepped on stage with his opening song.

Also, prospective participants of MEEELJ volunteered wherever they were needed. MEEELJ certainly plans to have more events in the future to allow participants to continually gain knowledge and experience.
