Events
We have events as often as possible with the help of sponsors for them. Events are used to raise funds, awareness, recognize outstanding individuals, and raise the spirits of our clients and their families. Social skills, networking and community service are just of few of the benefits obtained. Posted here will be our current plans and schedules as well as a little about previous events held by MEEELJ Inc.

Hip Hop Festival
MEEELJ's Hiphop Festival Was a Success.
Despite the stormy forecast predicted for Saturday June 26, 2004, the clouds did not release any significant rain. A crowd of around 200 or so attended the festival. Along with the music, the vendors provided a variety of foods. They sold everything from sausage wraps to nachos. Security was provided by D.P.S. troopers and some very hard working volunteers.
The concert, which lasted for more than three hours, went off without any mishaps. The concert goers enjoyed Rap and R&B music from artists such as HSE, GRIT BOYS, SUCKA FREE, BILLY CROSS, and CHOPPA. CHOPPA, who was the main attraction, really got the crowd going when he stepped on stage with his opening song.
Also, prospective participants of MEEELJ volunteered wherever they were needed. MEEELJ certainly plans to have more events in the future to allow participants to continually gain knowledge and experience.

MEEELJ would like to thank everyone who participated in and attended our first Celebrity Basketball Game, helping to make it a huge success. The game was filled with exciting highlights from start to finish, beginning with Kayla singing a moving rendition of the National Anthem and mesmerizing the crowd of 235. The DJ kept the crowd’s enthusiasm pumped throughout the game as former NBA all-star Terry Cummings coached the home team against Roy Jones Jr.’s BodyHead Bangerz All Star Team.
The score remained close down to the final play, ultimately ending with the BodyHead Bangerz winning by just 2 points! The event closed on a high note, however, as Choppa (who performed during the half time show), Terry Cummings, All Star Team Members and Roy Jones Jr.’s Representatives all graciously signed autographs for the fans.
MEEELJ was extremely proud to bring the community together for such a positive event, and greatly appreciated the support of all who attended. We look forward to doing it again!
