About MEEELJ Inc.

MEEELJ has the honor of serving youth (teens and young adults) in crisis, at-risk of dropping out of school, drug users, formerly incarcerated persons(FIP) and others needing assistance with pursuing employment and/or education, relief from drug or alcohol abuse or help with parole/probation problems.

The vision of MEEELJ, Inc. is to be recognized as the premier organization that helps all at risk youth and former inmates reach their full potential and exercise and/or restore their rights.

At MEEELJ, Inc. we strive to:

  • Effectively meet the needs of at risk youth and former inmates in their communities;
  • Develop our youth and formerly incarcerated person's (FIP's) capacity to be self-sufficient, responsible members of the community;
  • Help our participants to overcome the effects of discrimination; and
  • Serve as a vigorous advocate for youth and former inmates, focusing attention on their special needs.
