At MEEELJ, Inc. we strive to:

• Effectiviely meet the needs of at-risk youth and former inmates in their communities;
• Develop the capacity of youth and formerly incarcerated persons (FIP's) to be self-sufficient, responsible members of the community;
• Help our participants to overcome the effects of discrimination; and
• Serve as a vigorous advocate for youth and former inmates, focusing attention on their special needs.
